T-shirts are so S_XY

Hi, this is The Youth Generation 1st attempt to blog about fashion. We are going to feature about T-shirt today. The T-shirts are titled S_X. The S_X could mean many different things to different people, rather than that 3-lettered word I guess. It could be sax as in saxophone for a musician, but for this NewUrbanMale.com Pte Ltd company, the word is six for 2009 is their 6th anniversary. This company had created many creative wordings T-shirts under its brand name:NUMTees. Some of its creative T-shirt wording include I am a womanizer, (Im neither straight, bisexual, nor gay, I'm just shameless), etc. Some of it do sounds very sensitive or provocative yeah. So, if you got some creative wordings ideas, send them to NUM via www.numtees.com website. If your wording are choosen, then the T-shirt with your wording will be on the 'next plane to Brunei from Singapore pretty sooon'. Ok, I think I will stop here for the moment, meanwhile, picture speaks a thousand words so enjoy the picture. Bye!

Nice T-shirts don't they, especially the words! (newurbanmale.com)(Price:59.90 inclusive of GST)

Mobile phone ban lifted?

The government had enforced the mobile phone ban in schools since the middle of 2007. This was undertaken after surveys conducted shows that 70% of parents believes that mobile phone is distracting studies. However, there seems to be a lot of troubles. The Youth Generation decides to revisit this issue again, 2 years after its implementation.
In one of the recently aired The Breakfast Show, there was a caller who called in to the show, expressing his displeasure at a school's principal who allegedly refused to allow her daughter who suffers from some kind of medical problems to bring her mobile phone to school. The principal said that "If I allow your daughter to bring her phone to school, then other parents would also ask for the same thing, and accuses the school of discrimination". Well, 1 question, if have a discrimination to assist others, it should be allowed dont they? Policies are created by man, it can be adapted to situation, can't be rigid.
The hosts of that TV show, also disagreed with that situation. He said that 'Student should be allowed to bring their mobile to school, but if they are caught using it, other than in recess or going back time, the teachers have the right to confiscate the mobile and say "Its mine, you will never ever get it back again". The current system in Brunei, is if you were to get caught(which will be least likely to occur), up to 3 times, you just need to get your parents to sign a letter, and alazakam, your phone is returned to you. Earlier, there were some suggestions that a wireless signal blocker to be installed in every school, to prevent usage of mobile phone. So no MSN, SMS, facebooking, tweeting for students, unless you can pass through the blocker of course.
In a nutshell, The Youth Generation thinks that the mobile phone ban in schools should be lifted/cancelled, since it ain't gonna work with a rigid system that it unadaptable to situation, disrimination allegation. Since majority still bring thier phone to school, why not consider legalising 'bringing mobile phone to school'? What do you all think, kindly vote up on this issue, on the right hand side of this blog. Thanks

You can find me in PS set 1, mostly at the library, least likely at the green area, or the canteen. My blog is chatlepak.blogspot.com
Ok, my scope of posting will be very general, since I can't be paparazzi or photographer. Occasionally, I may post up some fashion infos.

Tips

As promised, The Youth Generation is going to give a little 'helping hand' for our potential medical students, who will fill the gap of very little doctors in Brunei. Here goes:
What is your answer to these following questions?
Some questions asked during admissions interviews, according to current medical students:
The perennial question
Why do you want to become a doctor?
Current affairs
Should General Practitioners practise aesthetic medicine?
Ethical dilemas
With one organ and two patients who need it equally, who would you decide to give it to?
Two patients are admitted to the Accident and Emergency department — one a father, the other an old lady. Both are in equally serious condition but there’s only one bed available.Who would you give it to?
Note: The interviewers are not fools, you cant fool them with 'textbook answers', you need to shape your own perspective.
For a reality check to see if you are prepared to be a doctor, in some countries they would bring the potential doctors to the mortuary. If you are not afraid then welcome to doctorhood, well if you are afraid, find ways to overcome it or find another alternative.

Activity:Any1 up for a challenge?

Do you want to be famous? Do you want to promote yourself? If the answer is YES Well, here is a chance for you to do that.
Pelangi FM as you know(if you listen to local radio station) is having a Students Nite every Wednesday @ 9pm-10pm. They invite students of different secondary schools in Brunei to talk about their school, CCA, teachers, etc. So far, I have heard PTE Katok & Sekolah Menengah Menglait on air.
The Youth Generation had done a bit of research, and found out bits & pieces of info regarding the Student's Nite.
1.You dont have to be MPP
2.You dont have to be member of Media Club
Pre-requisite: As long as you can talk(which a lot of people can), charismatic, represent yourself, your club & your school well. WELCOME ABOARD! So SMSAians out there or shall I say KBF6, do you have what it takes, take up the challenge & make our school proud?
P.S. Please contact RTB Pelangi FM for more info. This is not an official notice, its just an info, for The Youth Generation don't want to be invited to the 'Principal Office' for a cup of tea & a talk, or even worse into the Director of MOE office.

CCA Update:Circus Club in SMSA?

By: Founder Blogger Team
Its gonna to be a mini AF ala SMSA, minus the AFUNDI & pengkritik soon. The Circus Club by Ambrose Chong(The Youth Generation Rock n Roll Blogger), is going to open soon, probably in May. No it is not going to have any performing bears in skirts dancing Ballet or tigers jumping over a ring of fire. Its a club which focuses on Britney's dance moves. There will be no professional supervisors, hence the members would have to have a good connection between themselves. The Youth Generation wishes all the best for this new Circus Club.
